Our vet recommended that we switch out overweight male cat to a PH balanced wet food, she informed us that it is supposed to help prevent crystals in their urine which can cause a lot of problems.
What is your guys opinion on this? Do you feed your kitties the special wet food?
I found Friskies brand for the same price, and it claims to be a PH balanced wet food (turkey and gravy classic pattee special diet). Would this be a good alternative? Do I need to go 100% wet food or can I do a mix of dry and wet?
Thanks!
