Do cats think logically?

my mom knows someone who had a bunch of dogs and one little one would always limp toward her and then the owner gave him/her all the atention when she went to leave and close the door she heard a lot of noise when she looked throught the window she saw that same little dog running around being crazy! when she opened the door s/he would start limping again

my furbaby and dogs will bark at eachother through the door when one wants to come in
