Hello! I know I’m late to this thread but this has been the only place on the internet that had the same issue as me. My cats nose has continually gotten darker in the past 2 months and the vets can’t figure out what it is. They gave us antibacterial ointment which briefly lightened it a bit but I’ve been using it for 4 weeks now and her nose is still getting darker and spreading. Is there any other answers someone has figured out? As
Hello!
Not sure if you've already found a solution to this?
It looks similar to what had happened with my cat 2 years ago. For details check out this thread here Black Spot on Nose

It also reoccurred this year, but didn't spread as much and resolved on its own. I wouldn't worry too much about it but definitely be in touch with your vet. In our cat's case we suspect it was a case of solar dermatitis. I would suggest consulting a vet dermatologist since they would be more specialized in dealing with this rather than a regular vet.
