Ok - as I am "technically challenged' - here's my question and problem.
Got a digital picture frame for Christmas. I wanted to show all the pics from my camera on the frame, it worked fine as long as I had the memory card in the frame. Couldn't figure out how to "save" the pics to memory on the frame. Brought it to radio shack and the girl there tried but couldn't do it either. So I figured I'd just keep the memory card in the frame and when I want to use the camera just transfer the memory card back to the camera.
I sat down with my camera and went thru the pictures and wanted to delete some pictures that I didn't want to keep. Screwed something up royally and deleted all the pictures except for two -- only Tony and Angel survivied the picture massacre.
I called Radio Shack and spoke to a very helpful man who said that once I deleted the pics from the memory card there was no getting them back. He said I could buy something that would allow me to take all the pictures, which fortunately are stored on my computer, and transfer them back. I think I need a different type of USB cable (and he mentioned something about a card reader). Told me to come in tomorrow and he'll show me what to do. If I had a laptop I could have brought it in and he'd do it for me, but I have a desk top.
Question is -- do any of you hav any experience with this. Is it easy for the "technically challenged" to do?
