It is a great camera to learn photography with since you can use the automatic features or go fully manual. The picture has wonderful clarity and colour. The camera also fits nicely in the hand and has a swivel LCD screen. When I purchased the A80 I thought I would never use the swivel screen but I actually use it quite a bit.It's very easy to learn, start with the automatic setting and then play with the other settings.

Also, here is a very good article reminding the reader that you do not have to buy the most expensive camera to have wonderful pictures - it's the photographer that makes the difference not the equipment!
