Hi everyone, I posted previously about my poor little kitten Jezebel who was peeing on the floor. We thought it was just a problem with her getting house-trained (it was between ages 9 weeks to 15 weeks now), but it turns out the baby has crystalluria! Poor thing! We're getting her on medication as soon as the vet gets it (Friday hopefully), but in the meantime, what can I do?
I've read that switching to an all-wet diet is a good thing, so I'll be doing that. Right now she eats about 80% dry grain-free food and 20% relatively cheap wet food. The vet also recommended feeding her cranberry pills like women take for UTIs.
Any other suggestions for anything at all I should do? Have you dealt with this issue before? Any words of advice?
Thanks!
Here is my previous thread about the litter problems, which I hope to God will get fixed: http://www.thecatsite.com/t/265472/kitten-wont-pee-in-litter
And their intro post
