yes you did the right thing. NO ONE can replace festra in your heart and you proved loyal,trustful,and a truly loving owner by taking away her pain. thank you for caring so much that you can let go to rescue your cat

I'm sorry for your loss of Festra.
I recently lost my sweet baby, Monti and I sometimes question if I did the right thing by telling the hospital to put him to sleep when I did. It just seemed so fast, like I made the decision too quickly, like I didn't ask if there was something else that could have been done. What if, what if, what if??? We could 'what if' ourselves to the point of panic...actually I did it a few times...but it accomplished nothing but making myself sick.
We did the best we could do. We saved our babies from suffering.

awww i know how you feel, my clive had to be put down on wed last week.
it was a number of issues and i know he was soon going to be in real bad pain and i still feel horrible about it.
i am sure your kitty knows you were doing the best you could and will be coming to visit you in spirit.
