I applied my cat's Revolution as I'm supposed to, on his skin at the back of his neck. Then, without thinking, I immediately gave him a "foam bath:" no water involved, just one of those where you massage a foam into his fur briefly and let it dry. I didn't touch the application site, but immediately after massaging it into the rest of his fur, I realized how stupid I was and that I likely should have waited!
Has anyone else had this experience? Any recommendations? Do you think the effectiveness will be affected?
Revolution says it's safe to *bathe* cats, or let them swim, two hours after application. I know I didn't rinse the Revolution off or anything, but I'm afraid I may have kept it from absorbing into his coat or something? Or maybe I bathed him before that process even started?
Not sure if this matters, but the foam is all-natural (but has some soap-based ingredients) and says it removes dander, dirt, and residual saliva.
