Just read that information on D.E. I also looked it up on Wiki my "go to" source of information.
That was interesting. Personally I wouldn't give it to my cats, without asking my vet. Also I wouldn't drink it or eat it without asking my doctor. But it does sound like it has some interesting properties. Especially the part about killing pesky insects like roaches, bedbugs, fleas, etc. I was wondering if your cats had fleas, would you dust your cat with that powder like flea powder? But I used that topical flea medicine once a month, Advantage Multi. It gets rid of a lot of things, as well as fleas. And so far we haven't had any fleas in our house or On our cats.
So I'll stick to that. ;-) Thanks for posting that article. That was interesting.

DE kills insects by acting like glass (which is made from silicon and sand) and cutting holes in their exoskeletons. Their fluids leak out through the holes and they die of dehydration.
