Dexter is back from his vet re-check for his asthma.
He is doing really well.

He was given an injection of Depo-Medrol, a long acting steroid.
The hope is that this will further reduce any remaining lung inflammation.

I was told that some of his labs results were high because my boy was stressed out when he had his asthma attack.

I am thrilled & relieved.
I thank all of you for your caring posts and support.

Hooray!

That's wonderful news Lei!!
I'm so happy that Dexter is doing so well!
You know I had wondered if his high results on his labs were due to being stressed. What a relief to hear that it was!

What a great group you are...
Everyone has been so supportive,
Sadie, Dexter & I give you 10 Head Bumps up.

If Dexter's asthma remains under control, he will have another blood panel & x-rays to re-check his lung function and other values in 6 months.

I just purchased a Honeywell Enviracare HEPA air purifier to use in our front room,
I already had one that I use in our bedroom.
Hopefully they will help keep our air dust free.

Needless to say, Sadie & I are really relieved to have our boy back with energy & purrs.

Yes, indeed! I'm sure Dexter isn't the only one who is breathing easier. What a relief for all of you that he's feeling so much better.
