deworm = diarhea?

my six month old kitten just got a deworm pill this morning to kill his tapeworms... and all his droppings today since have been right between solid and liquid. should this be expected? (he also got a rabies shot and flea treatments... anything?) slightly concerned cuz he's always had the same perfectly normal droppings until today.

When i got Sophie as a kitten the vet gave her a wormer and the following day she had runny stools, but the vet said that this was because of the worming tablet and should clear up in 2-3 days and it did
