I brought both cats (brother and sister) to have dental work done at 2 separate times. The boy went first in February and was given Clavamox to give at home. The girl went in March and was given a Convenia shot. The boy developed a lump under his jaw and had to go back (2 days after I picked up his sister). They said it was an abscess but when they went to lance it they said there was tissue and had to be biopsied. They gave him a shot of Convenia and the lump is almost gone. I have not received the results as of yet. My question, should I be billed for this procedure when I believe if he received the Convenia, the infection would have never surfaced. They also raised their rates in March, so her bill was more than his which I think is entirely unfair of them to do without telling me. Do I have any recourse or just find a new vet.
