My lap is like that scene in Transformers cartoon movie from the 80’s ... Autobot city transforming and the more I try to angle my legs and get up Olive jumps to a new horizontal surface (hips, sides of legs) and digs in the three long haul ...

This cat has a billion toys of all the same substance---pink, fuzzy felt balls bigger than her head. She treats them as babies and like any good mother, carries them, fusses them and throws them down the stairs when they step out of line.
She's delivered FIVE of them to my feet tonight.
(This cat is spayed, BTW, and never had a litter).
So cute.

I usually keep a laser toy in the drawer of the table next to the chair. I opened it, felt around, no laser. I began to sweat. I rummaged frantically. She said "looking...for this?" and dangled the toy then flung it out of reach xD

She did it again.
This time this brave (or dense, not sure yet) soul saw me lounging on the couch reading away with two dogs plastered against/on me. Hopped up around my feet, ignored their growls of protest as she used them as walking planks to make her way towards my face, then kneaded on my book (that made reading impossible) and settled with her face near mine, rear end resting on a dog who finally let out an indignant growl and got off the couch, yielding their spot to her arse.
She's stubborn and gets what she wants. And I love it.
