Hello, My 6.5 month old cat Noodle, has managed to open his incision site.
  • There is no odor/pus/green or black coloration that I can see,
  • A small amount of blood is on the cone which he used to rub open his incision,
  • His appetite is unchanged and still has decent levels of energy.
What do you think is wrong? Besides this being an open wound, could this be a Hernia? Or is it just a fresh swollen wound?

Absolutely, your vet needs to see this. And, since he rubbed it open with his cone (!?!?!?), I would also suggest that you get an Elizabethan collar for him, something like this, although there are many styles available:

They're just as annoying to the cat, but it won't rub the surgery site opened again!

Eek, no, it definitely shouldn't look like that. I recently had a male neutered and after 8 days you could barely tell anything had happened. Try to get him in tomorrow if at all possible.

Let us know what the vet says/does!
