Yeah I have to drive to work, and to the gym on Sunday..at least that much drivingOriginally Posted by GailC
I too was thinking it could be the brakes!! Are you going to be driving your car anytime before it gets looked at??
Hmm, that makes me wonder..maybe I will call my dad. He lives 45 minutes away but maybe he would look at itOriginally Posted by MoochNNoodles
That so stinks. I'm fortunate enough to be able to call 1-800-step-DAD!
He replaced many break pads on my old neon, they would wear out like crazy and were a butt to change each time. If you have to drive, just take it easy and give yourself some extra breaking time in case it doesn't act right. Too bad you didn't get to schmooze a mechanic for yourself last weekend!
Worth a shot! At least worth calling to see what he thinks it might be. I always feel like I should be prepared a bit so I don't look like an easy target to rip off. Do you have a good mechanic you trust?Originally Posted by Trouts mom

#1 - I hope that its something simple and cheap.I know this is the last thing you need right now.
#2 - I've finally decided who you remind me of. It's the ":censor::censor::censor::censor:" and "freak" usage and the fun personality.Do you watch Scrubs? You remind me of Elliot, the blonde girl doctor.(That's meant to be a compliment btw.)
Hmmm, your regular guy might have it fixed before I get there... But I would if I have to.Originally Posted by Trouts mom
Neeeeeeeeeeeeeet? Can you swing by?
That sounds like a plan. Most guys do that job themselves, it's not hard to do and requires minimal tooling and just the replacement parts. Hour job at the most, unless the rotors need turned. Then they'd have to be taken to a machine shop, but that's not too expensive or time-consuming.Originally Posted by Trouts mom
