I always think about things like that too, when I see dogs trained to do unnatural things.Originally Posted by Rosiemac

My niece did gymnastics as a child. Now in her 30's she has arthritis in her hips, and her friend of the same age and a gymnast has just had her hip replaced through arthritis as well, so i would imagine it would be very similar with the dogOriginally Posted by otto
I mean, clearly the dog is enjoying her work, but has her owner thought about what kind of care she is going to need in a few years, when her back legs and her back start to cause her trouble and arthritis pain?
I never even thought of that. But you are right, I imagine it would have long term effectsOriginally Posted by Rosiemac
