Hi!
I took my 2 year old male to his neutering appointment. Vet suggested a blood panel, and since I'm completely paranoid (as you can tell if you've seen my previous posts) I immediately agreed, signed the form and went home. Two hours later I get a call from the vet. Not only cat is a bit dehydrated, but the vet says his liver is about 20% more damaged that it should be at his age. He will be giving him "natural medication" to help regenerate the liver and some special food. But he just couldn't explain what he meant properly and I'm kind of panicked. I've beeen searching online all day and I can't find any information. Anyone ever heard of something like a liver "20% more damaged that it should be"? Cat is big, strong, he's always been a sleepyhead but he's playful at night, eats properly, doesn't vomit, no diharrea, doesn't pee all the time, no jaundince in the white of his eye...
Should I be worried? Could it be something lethal?
Thank you!!
