If it's okay with you guys, I'm going to make this Blu's photo thread. I will just put all of his photos here. (Be warned: I take a lot of photos of him. Haha)

posiepurrs is Blu truly a "blue Persian"? Or what color would he be? I've looked at colors and seen blue smoke, blue, lilac. They kind of all look the same to me. I would love to hear what you think.

Blu looks blue to me, BTW, but posiepurrs is certainly more knowledgeable than I am, so I'm sure that her assessment will be correct.

They are grey.

Blu is a blue Persian then. Blue Persians have blue paw pads and nose leather. Lilac would have pinkish pads and nose leather. Both should have copper eyes.

Thank you so much! I think he is beautiful, but I am a little biased. Lol. I actually thought about showing him. I just dont know anything about showing a cat or even grooming a cat for a show. Haha. I have been reading the forums here though.

Blu is not only handsome but adorable. His copper eye color is striking. So precious!

You mentioned blue smoke. A smoke looks one color at rest, but when they move you see the white undercoat. A solid blue should have blue color , the lighter the better, uniform from top to bottom of the hair.

You can definitely see a lighter undercoat on him. So maybe he is a blue smoke? I know it is hard to tell from pictures. Maybe I can get a video of him.

Blu this morning...
He loves sitting on the patio with me. He is only allowed outside when he is supervised, but he is so calm it hasn't been a problem.

I was pretty proud of my little phone camera for that picture. Hahaha. Its kind of blurry, but I thought it was funny.

This is my other baby. This is Blu's sister. She is 5. She is a very well behaved girl, and she loves her kitty brother.

Also, posiepurrs here is a photo of Blu moving. It isn't the best quality, but I managed to snap it yesterday. You can see the white undercoat here, even though he looks darker in this photo than he is.
