Bread here is ~ $2.25

Milk is ~ $4, though I buy the organic stuff that lasts for 6-8 weeks and it's closer to $7.

Gas is around $1.65 right now.

Our bus system costs $1.50 per ride, but they've got special programs that let anyone over 65 ride free, and everyone can ride free on days with poor air quality.

Taxi would completely depend on where you're going. I think it's a $5 minimum, but my city is very spread out so you could probably rack up a $30-40 fare pretty easily.

I live in Metro Atlanta. These are for regular grocery stores - Kroger/Publix/Walmart - you can get better prices by going to Aldi or one of the wholesale warehouses.

Milk: $4.25
Whole Wheat Bread: $3
Coffee Cream & Half & Half: $3.50
Eggs: $2-2.50
TP: $8 for 6 Double Rolls (I use premium TP)

Gas: $1.899 this morning
MARTA (Bus/Train): $3.50 one way but it doesn't go many places so most people drive.
Taxi: ??? I don't use them!
