I am so sorry for your loss. Even though you had Skittles for a short time, I know it doesn't hurt any less. I had a kitten die from pneumonia last summer and I only had him for 7 days. I still think of him and will tear up every once in a while when I talk about him. You can't blame yourself for that you think you didn't do or see...but it is hard not to go there. Focus on Keylah and enjoy your precious moments with her.
