Diesel just came home from the vet yesterday after four days of antibiotics, Epogen, another pill (some bacteria capsule) and tests, where we confirmed he has CRF. I'm supposed to give him his first sub-q treatment tonight, and he's hiding under the bed.
He's alternating between being halfway-normal (meowing at my feet for food, but not tripping me, that sort of thing) and being Somewhere Else mentally. He wasn't really reactive when I strolled by to his cozy spot and cuddled him for a second - He just kind of sat there. Not too typical.
He's under the bed now, just sitting there. Not looking at me when I call, but avoiding the flashlight beam. I know cats often hide when its their time. What does this mean? If it is his time, then so be it - I'll be happy he's not hurting. If it's not, I'll be happy for me, 'cause I'll get more Dieselhugs.
I'm really scared, though.
