OMG! He is gorgeous! Welcome to TCS! Buff is another possibility. Speck in my signature is buff, though he grew redder with age. (I called him "sand" at first and then realized my mistake and had to edit. I wonder if there is such a thing as a sand-colored cat?) He was also quite the spotted kitten, but his spots became elongated as he grew into a portly gentleman.

Now to the question, is he tabby for real, or is it ghost stripes? "all reds are tabbies"
I think he is tabby for real, because he has the secondary caracteristicas as the white around mouth, and some also around the eyes.
