Couple of questions about photoshop

How do you get all those lovely backgrounds???

How do you cut around the picture so neatly?? On the pics other people do you get the exact picture. With like the whiskas sticking out and that. lol

Most of us make our own backgrounds, but you can search for royalty free / copyright free images to use. I know there are links in the graphics help & resources thread on here

If you have a look at the tutorial I made, if you use some feathering on the cut out it tends to look more natural (but don't use too much or the ears and other extemities go transparent.

I draw the whiskers in using a feathered brush
