Hi all,
I'm thinking of trying Cosequin for my cat, Turtle, and wondered if you can give the pill or if you have to sprinkle it on the food. She doesn't have really bad symptoms yet--just a little hesitant about jumping on the bed and a few other things. The vet said I could try a shot they offer for this (forgot what it's called) and that I'd have to learn how to give it to her at home. It's not inexpensive. And even though giving this shot is supposed to be no big deal, it would be a big deal to me! Without her having any more symptoms than she does I wanted to go a simpler route by buying this OTC to see if it helps. Turtle is almost 12 years old and I'm not even sure if it is arthritis related. The vet seems to think it probably is some in her back but she wasn't even sure.
I'd really love any advice or experience with this!
Turtle and I thank you!!
Pam
