Can a cat become cooler coming in with contact of water? Like across their backs?
Well yes, would they appreciate your efforts, not so much. If you think that your cat is to hot, try giving your cat the choice of a cooler surface to lie down on. Granite tiles or counter tops, ceramic tiles or floors usually stay much cooler than the ambient room temp. Can a cat become cooler coming in with contact of water? Like across their backs?
I read somewhere that immersing a kitty in water will actually keep the heat in if they are totally soaked to the skin (can't find the darn link now), but using a damp towel will actually help them stay cooler. I can see this happening (totally soaking them) with my Maine Coon, Maxie, because he has a whole lotta hair. Can a cat become cooler coming in with contact of water? Like across their backs?
