I came accross this entertaining channel. When It got to 27 sec it brought basscat to mind so that prompted me to post it.

mightyboosh , I've never actually bobcat heard mating sounds in person, but, Gibsy does do that snarly loud growl every now and then. It's usually "vet" related.
