Constipated?

I think the drugs my kitty was on left her bunged up. Was is the best remedy for that? I am mushing some metamucil in her wet food. Other suggestions?

To be honest since you kitty was on meds I'd call the vet and explain what is going on. Until you talk to your Vet I would not try and self-medicate your baby

I agree with Helen, talk with the vet first.I would stay away from Metamusil since there are allergies associated with the phsyllium husks.

Vet's usually prescribe a *little* canned pumpkin for increasing the fiber, but again your vet should be consulted.

I agree- though metamucil works well for humans you would do better to use mineral oil on your kitty- but first ring-up your vet.
