Heh, isn't it like murphy's law or something that says babies and kittens are always born in the middle of the night?

That sounds familiar... that's what my cat has been doing off and on all weekend. Just when I think it will be any second, she starts acting normally again and nothign happens. I pretty much expect her to deliver in the middle of the night, because that's when both of my other girls delivered.. they both started around 10 p.m. and finished around 2 a.m.

Wohoo! Let us know how things progress. She's a very considerate cat to not go into labor during the middle of the night. LOL

I was just thinking the same thing. My little Ginger has been very uncomfortable today and moving from one spot to the other. Oh and I keep dreaming about her having the kittens.

WeyHey!!!!!!!!!!

at 20.24 A little Ginger Tom was born without its bag!
and then at 20.35 a Black Girly followed in an extra large bag!

I had to rub her belly the whole way through as she would not let me go!

She is still panting and still has a bit of a tum so assuming more on route but could be wrong!

Babies feeding fine Mum is excellent!

have taken pics which I will post later.

That reminds me of Trina's first litter.

We noticed her mucus plug had come undone the evening before we were supposed to leave for a quick work trip to California. Soon after, she went into her kittening box, was doing some rhythmic panting, etc. I was certain she was going to have her kittens that night! She kept acting like she was going to go into the final stage of labor, but she never broke water or anything. I was up all night by her side, stroking her and petting her, hoping that I wouldn't miss the births. By five in the morning, she still hadn't even come close to having one kitten, though she had us wondering! We had a seven a.m. flight we had to make, so I left her in the care of my brother and a friend, who were both knowledgable about this kind of thing and who had all the emergency contacts and who I was on the phone with the entire time up until they told us to turn off our cellphones.

Apparently she kept relaxing, and sometimes would go back in. But she didn't even have her kittens until two days later, and they were all perfectly healthy, and her delivery was easy. These things do happen!

Keep stroking her belly and talking to her. For her second litter, Trina didn't want to push unless I was telling her to and rubbing her tummy gently. =)

Omigosh, they're soooo pretty! I love the reddish ones coloring, but the black one is so sleek and shiny!

I'm jealous! =p
