I can't imagine doing this more than once in a great while. You must be very strong to handle pain like that. If you've read about my Cooper then you know I completely understand your misery. It sounds like Comet led a long life which is more than I can say for my Bear, so definitely remember that. Also remember that you're not alone because there's a heart in Bellingham, WA that's aching just as bad as yours. You owe it to Comet to grieve for his loss, so let it be and don't hold back.
