I am so glad to hear he made it home! Sorry that he has to be hurt, but I bet you'd much rather take hurt than worse. I'll keep sending {{{Get well soon}}} vibes for Simon! I know you'll need them for his surgery!

Oh my goodness poor Simon. Continued vibes and prayers for his upcoming surgery. Good Luck in keeping him still, maybe the vet can move the surgery date up?

He is on a list for anyone that cancels so I can hope they are able to move it up.

It is a good thing that you got him to a vet right away...poor baby.
Simon's injury sounds like it would be very painful.
I am sending lots of vibes that your boy can get that surgery right away.

Imagine how desperate he was to get home to you after he was injured.
Thank God he made it.

Simon

Just don't forget that Simon's home & his injuries are fixable! That's a huge blessing!
Remembering that will hopefully make you feel a little better.

Just checking this now. I hope his surgery goes well. I didn't even know cats had an ACL!! My senior Ox when he was younger had a mystery wound from his roaming days which required exploratory surgery. He recoved well from that very well. Sending vibes to your family and Simon.

Update. Simon is still sore and limping but he is so glad to be home!
I am able to call the vet every Friday and Wednesday to check for cancellations for Monday and Thursday. They only schedule 4 surgeries of this type a week.

My DH has started the plans for another cat enclosure outside for Simon. It will lead out from my bedroom and will have a sandy spot for Simon. He hates litter! He will only take care of business outside or inside next to the litter box or my bathtub.
Crazy boy!

Simon will go to any extreme to get a new enclosure.

I know that you are giving him the best of care Eva.

Fingers are crossed for an earlier surgery date.
