Would anyone be kind enough to post photos of how your pointed kitties evolved over time? I've seen a few here and there but can't find a thread on it. So curious how ours might turn out!

The changes in the snowshoes are amazing! I can't believe how dark they got over time compared to those baby pictures, especially along the back.

C calikitteh - You have a couple of beauties! It's hard to tell since monitors differ so much, but is your pale kitty a Caramel Lynx Point?
.
thank you! i think the one on top is a lilac lynx point (his stripes are pretty grey in reality) and the one on the bottom is a dilute calico point. foster fails from an orphaned litter...we did some volunteering this year with a meezer rescue and i couldn't believe how many beautiful, friendly kittens are dumped at shelters.

Speedy, just before I adopted her, at 7 months old. This is the only photo I have of her this young. You can see her back and torso were very light, a lot of white with some tan on the back fur.

Soon after I took her home, Speedy's coat quickly became darker on the back. I do not have any photos until now, six years later and you may see how her fur has changed.

20171012_175304.jpg It seemed like the changes in her fur happened almost overnight in fall 2012, soon after she was adopted. This would have been around 8-9 months of age that these changes were going on (estimated from the information I was given on her age).
20171114_114038.jpg You can see she has retained a lot of white on the chest and abdomen. 20180329_115509-1 (1).jpg

Reylan Gibbons from 6 weeks to 1 year. He is still fairly light across his body.

Tiberius from 6 years to 9 years, I rescued him as an adult so sadly no baby pictures.

did Tiberius get fluffier from 6-9 years or is that the difference between summer and winter coat? in any case, lovely kitties!

C calikitteh Thank you!

thefiresidecat thefiresidecat No we do not know for certain. We were given a suspected range of 6-8 years and the vet agreed with the assessment so we went with the low end of the range. He did undergo a pretty dramatic transformation though!
