I found a stray a few weeks ago that possibly has cancer. She was emaciated and her eyes were infected. I took her to the vet and they gave her an antibiotic injection and an antibiotic ointment for her eyes. She had a tumor in the left side of her mouth that the vet believed was possibly cancer. I can't do the biopsy right now, but from what I have read most oral tumors in cats are malignant. The tumor is spreading and I am managing her pain with medacam injections and oral buprenex. I know that possible euthanasia is in the future, but want to give her a chance.
I have read a lot about people treating their cats cancer with colloidal silver and decided to give it a try. I gave her some this afternoon and she seemed to actually like it.
Does anyone have any experience treating cancer with colloidal silver? I don't want to get my hopes up too much and it not help. I really like this cat and want to make her as happy and comfortable as possible in what might be her last few weeks or months.
