Sometimes I drink hot coffee through those really narrow straws...only because I want my big 24 ouncer to last...sometimes it takes me a good 2 hours to finish my "cup". Guess you could say I'm a nurse who nurses her drink! Otherwise, I hate straws..and while we're at it, I HATE those cardboard sleeves they use to protect you from the hot cup.
