So my 1+ year old cat's claws needed trimmed.  I didn't have cat clippers so I used my own nail clippers to just take the ends off and shorten them a little.  She let me do all the front ones except for 1......then she caught on what I was doing and took off.  ha ha

What type of clippers should I purchase.  I obvioulsy don't want to use my own anymore.....but I had to this morning.......what do you all recommend.  I want good ones....price isn't an issue.

Also, I'm pretty sure I"m going it correctly.  I didn't go very far down.  Any advice would be appreciated.

I use these
They have a little hook on one blade to hold the nail steady and then the other side is straight for cutting. It's much easier if one person holds the cat and the other clips. At least that is how we do it at our house.
