I bought clippers with a little guard on them. I also searched this site for threads and things about it. I think what helped me most was waiting till they are asleep and that I try to play with thier paws when they are sleepy anyway, so it's almost normal for them to feel me unsheathing thier claws. I'm sure you'll do just fine!
