Would you be having a bridal shower??? I know usually at the showers I've attended the bride gets a cleaning package. I'm highly practical so I would have put that on my list too!!

Sure, you avoid putting the big-ticket items on your list, but cleaning stuff -- why not, if it's something you'd like to receive? The fact that it's on your list doesn't mean anybody has to choose it as their gift, if it's not what they want to give.
