Yes, we left out cookies and milk for Santa and something for Rudolf also.
Each year we do that with our kids.

Nope, we never did the cookie thing (my mom was a single mom working 24/7 to take care of us- so she probably didn't start the whole "cookie" thing because that's the last thing she had time for

) However, we did always wait up to hear the sleigh bells!

(my mom would always tip toe outside of our windows and make lots of noises with the jingle bells!!

We LOVED that!!! We always knew that when we heard those bells, santa was on his way in through the pipe. (we never had a chimney- so we were told santa came in through the pipe that the heat goes out of (you know what i'm talking about!

)) / However though, last year when my sister and her family lived with us- i went all out for them- we made cookies for santa, left out carrots for the reindeers you name it

(i snuck outside and rang bells too

) I can't wait to have children some day and do little things like that for them
