Earlier, one of my kittens started choking. It was nothing like how they might react if they were going to puke. It just sounded like she was screaming for air. I flipped out. Luckily my husband was right there, he picked her up and kind of shook her while he patted her back. It went on for about 30 seconds or so. It seemed like forever. I believe that she had gotten ahold of a bit of chicken. I was really suprised that she wasn't mad at him. She cuddled up to him as if she knew that he was only trying to help her. She's fine now, but I was wondering what I should have done. I'll make sure that she can't get ahold of food like that again, but what is the proper way to help a choking cat?
I wasn't really sure where to post this question, so if this is the wrong place then I'm sorry.
Thank you, JeepersCreepers
