China Doll, who is also known as Noel, is my 15 year old calico cat. She's very vocal and we think she might have some kind of siamese or similar breed in her because she has the alien-ish face. Anyways, we have only been blessed to have her since she was 13 years old.
Someone was selling her at the flea market for ten dollars, including the hampster cage she was living in. The vet had told us she wouldn't make it past two weeks in her condition and that making her comfortable and spoiling her a little couldn't hurt. That was two years ago. She's survived seizures, heart failure, liver failure, anorexia, and anemia. Today she is healthy as ever though!
Jason Bond is my favorite cat in the world. He's charming and loves on all the ladies but gives the guys head nods! Its hilarious how he sizes them up. He was brought in through the rescue group I volunteered for, his littermates and mother did not survive hurricane katrina but two of the other kittens were with him in a laundry room. He was a foster, but I officially adopted him when he turned 2 years old.
Deenah was supposed to be a quick TNR. Only she was caught on a Saturday night, so she would have to be without water for two nights due to the spay. I took a chance and stuck the trap in my bathtub, opened it to shove a bowl of water in and all of a sudden this mean looking kitten was rubbing all over my arms and legs. She got lucky that we trapped her, she had an infection that caused brain damage at birth and is never going to reach the mentality of an adult cat.
