=/ I use stainless steel bowls, wash them every day too... I have one stainless steel bowl for dry food, one for water, one for wet, and one more that is ceramic that I also use for water. They get washed and refilled everyday.
I do have a linolium floor, however, I keep a door mat under the bowls. It's not plastic, but carpet. He does wear a collar during the weekdays 24/7, but the tag is alluminum (sp?).
I dunno, it confusses me, anyone else have ideas? Could his alluminum tag be picking up junk from his wet/dry food? I free feed as well, when the bowl starts getting empty-I fill it up again... Hmmm, I have something similar to this:
But it's much closer to the ground and is shaped like a cat-made out of wood, is wood bad?
