I found you as a tiny kitten mewing around my house. I couldn't sleep for several nights, because you kept me awake. We fed you, DH and I, but we couldn't catch you. Finally, I saw you on playing in the top of a broken tree, with your little hand stuck through a knot-hole. I got DH, and he was tall enough to reach up and get you. We couldn't keep you, because we had so many others at the time. But DH and are inherently animal lovers, our families love animals, too. His mom was kind enough to give you the best home you could wish for. Late in your life, my mother-in-law took in Lucy, a feisty kitten. After you got used to being pestered, you loved her. What fun you had! My mother-in-law said you two sounded like a herd of elephants running and playing in the hall. Just thinking about you now is almost too much to take. Your sweet owner cries for you every day. Lucy misses you, too. And your whole extended human family is mourning for you. Chester, always so handsome in your "tuxedo". I'm so sorry. I hope we meet again on the other side.
