I'm so glad your first treatment went well! One step at a time. I don't know if this was true for you, but when I went for my treatments, I sort of absorbed the positive energy of the people handling everything, and put myself in their hands, figuring they've got this whole procedure down to a finely honed process. I sort of found it really interesting and educational.
Another thing that helped me, was I kept visualizing this picture I had seen of Robin Roberts, when she first went through chemo. She was bald, and sitting in the chair, her earbuds in, listening to music, and she was laughing. Laughing, while she was getting chemo treatments! It really made an impression on me, and I carried that picture in my head for months. I always thought I would tell her that if I ever met her face to face. She was quite an inspiration to me.
