Hi,
Like most people posting in this forum, I'm new to this site of cats.
My kitty is named charlie. Here is a short story on how he came into my life--
I volunteered at a local cat shelter-- this shelter had outreaches at local petsmart. One day while caring for the cats, a lady came to me and said she had 3 cats who she couldn't care for because she was moving-- the head of the volunteer site was there and told her that the shelter we work for doesn't usually take from owners-- or something like that.. the lady was sad, she said if she wasn't able to take them all the way to the Oregon Humane Society because of lack of transportation... and she also said she would have to let them go into the wild if she had no other options. so then i jumped in and offered to take them to the other shelter my self.--
My girlfriend and i went over to the lady's house to pick up the kitties. once we got them to our house we let them all out. there was a tuxedo DLH. a black DSH. and-- a flame point. It was the first time i have ever seen a orange tabby with points. he was beautiful---
To cut this story shorter, We had the cats for about a month. the 2 black cats never warmed up to us, they were mean and stressed, i felt bad.. but we had to take them to the OHS. how ever. the flame point (who his owner named romeo-) was a total love bug. we fell inlove with him instantly. there was no way i was letting him go. and now he is mine-- well ours. forever !
Charlie is loving, loyal, playful, a lap cat, vocal-- all things i have always wanted in a cat. with the bonus of beauty. and photogenic(lucky for yall!)
Thank you for readin his story :] -pictures are all over my profile, i think... im learning how to use this site..-
