In October, my fiance and I took in a pregnant stray cat. She had her babies in November and they've found good homes (except for two who passed
), but we haven't been able to find a home for her. All of our friends are not looking for a cat, and the only reponses I've gotten to ads have been scams.
She's a black dsh, 8ish lbs, and the vet estimates she's a year/year and a half.
We've had her spayed and her rabies shot is up to date. She does need a deworming again and the rest of her vaccinations. She's tested FIV/FeLV neg.
She's very smart, has already learned her name and will come when called. She's got the activity level of a kitten with the control of an adult cat.
She's getting along with our neutered male cat (95% of the time) but DOES NOT like our spayed girl cat. I don't recommend her around dogs as she growls and puffs up when she even hears them barking.
I'm really not sure what else to do. She is so wonderful that I would keep her except for the fact that she can't get along with our girl cat. And our girl cat is letting us know she's not happy by peeing innapropriatly (she's negative for UTI).
So thanks for reading my long post, I really love this girl, but she's ready for her own family now.
Here's some pics!
You would think she posed for this one:
How can you resist her cute face?
