I am soooooo sucked in...I too have one every evening. Matter of fact, I am drinking a warm cup now...YUM. It's very good. It's a black tea with spices usually prepared with steamed or warm milk. You should try a vanilla Chai next time you get over to Dunkin Dounuts.

I've got a D&D's right by me......I'll have to head out and get one. Do I have to specify anything, like cream, sugar or whatever?? Or is it just one type?

I can't wait to go now!

I'm a big green tea drinker. I probably have 3 8oz cups a day. Sometimes more. I like having something warm to drink.

Does the fact that it has warm milk in it make it chai? Can you buy it in teabags?

I think it's the spices and the fact that it's made with milk makes it Chai. The variation is in the spices. I have seen it in a powder, and a concentrate, but I am not sure about bags.

My accupuncturist turned me on to drinking it. And he gave me this website to look at.

I LOVE chai!! I don't make it at home, but will get one from a cafe for a treat once or twice a week! I usually order a nonfat chai latte!
Mmmmmmmmmm. . . . (oops, almost drooled on the keyboard!).

Hissy - you go to an acupuncturist? I have always wondered about acupuncture - does it work? I have a bad back and dont like to take pills of any kind.

I think I will try out this chai tea today at the cafe if they have it - can you get it without milk? I am lactose intolerant and I cant stand milk anyway.
