my kitten Fiur (4mo) has been waking me up like clockwork at 5:30 every morning. Our older cat Nova (2yrs) gets riled up and goes along with him. Before we got Fiur, we slept like babies. We free feed them, and I make sure he has food before I go to bed. I work night shift, and on nights I'm not working I stay up until 1 or 2am, so my 5:30 wake up call is getting a bit draining. I make sure to play with both cats before I go to bed, but it's not helping! Any suggestions?

Ear plugs. The kitten will calm down as she gets older. Most people recommend ignoring the kittens and they will eventually get the idea and leave you alone.
