I have three kids that share a cat. He is around one year old and is very loving. Today I notice that he wasn't putting his tail up straight like he normally doesn't when he is interested( which is in almost everything). I ran my hand down his tail and there was three bumps on his tail. He also got very angry with me when I touch the bumps. His tail only goes up closest to his body. I am not sure what happened and unsure if a vet can do anything. Anyone experience this with there cat?

I would definitely get him checked by a vet.  We tend to think of tail injuries as being minor but they can actually be serious and often require amputation.
