Hi we have a cat that adopted us, she came to our backyard she is an outdoor cat with a catery she goes in at night. when she first arrived she would not come inside but we feed her and keep her safe at night.

She has had black spots on her nose I have noticed they seam to have increased, and have gone back over my photos to investigate. do you think this is a skin cancer or a sore maybe she’s hurt her nose. First photo is 2020, 2nd 2021/2022 3rd photo now.

She is about 6 years old

Is it possible for you to get her to the vet? Or to send the pics to the vet if they will accept them? There is a condition called lentigo in which a cat will develop black spots on the nose, but IMO the patches on your cat look raised, scaby, and large. I would want to rule out any form of skin cancer or be able to try to treat it if it is in an early stage.

I'm inclined to agree with the above. Those don't look like freckles developing.

Vet appointment is needed.

White (or mostly white) cats tend to develop this thing on their nose as they grow old.
It happened to my previous cat too, she also lost some hair on her nose.
Same thing is happening to a feral cat of mine.

Anyway it is highly advisable to have the cat checked by a vet.
