My 1 and a half year old male cat has these strange, small brown stains on the bridge of his nose that weren't there before. The brown dots showed up maybe around 3-4 weeks ago and I thought his nose was just dirty, but they didn't go away. Now there seem to be two new littles stains: one on the nose and one right underneath his eye.

The skin isn't swollen, raised or bumpy, and he doesn't mind me touching it. They look harmless, but I'm really paranoid... Does anyone know what it could be? Does it look like anything I should worry about?

The dots look like cat acne to me. Someone should be along with a helpful link soon about it. As far as the stains, seems like it could be oil/dirt in relation to the acne.

LOL, here is that link! Feline Acne – TheCatSite Articles If it is feline acne, it is just starting, which is great! If you are using plastic dishes, switch to metal or china/earthenware/glass. Clean thoroughly after each use. You can wipe your cat's nose with a Stridex pad, as well. It will help clear it up, if this is the issue. Be careful, though, and don't get it in his eyes!

Looks like cat acne. Sometimes they get on their chins too. You can slowly, gently clean it off. Make sure your kitty’s bowls are always clean when you serve them food.
That makes sense. He had a bad case of acne on his chin around 6 months ago, so maybe this is a small flare-up but on the nose? Hopefully it won't get as bad. Thank you for the responses :)
