My cats seem to have a thing for piles of laundry...dirty or clean...doesn't seem to matter to them. This pile is clean and Leo seems content to fold his paws rather than assisting in the folding of the laundry...
Just every one be SO careful about just dumping laundry in the washer or dryer with out knowing where your cat is. As you know they LOVE laundry and a warm dryer too, so PLEASE check before you start either, there are so many tragedies that could have been avoided if we we all did this. It;s heartbreaking to hear the agony when tragedy strikes. All of our babies love to hide and a white cat on a load of white laundry might be missed in our hurried lives. Well that's that, keep those lovely pictures coming!
If I do not close the door when I am taking freshly dried clothes out of the dryer Apollo will climb in the dryer with the warm clothes. He did this to me once. My cats are not even allowed to hang out in my laundry room. My youngest Casey will dart into the room any chance he gets. I will not put laundry in the dryer if he is in there. If he does not follow me out and decides to hide in there I close the door and wait for him to meow at me when he decides to come out. If hubby is home I make him remove Casey from the laundry room because I can not reach him when he decides to hide behind the hot water heater. I use the dryer in the morning to freshen up my work clothes and I am always checking to make sure Casey has is not in the laundry room before I leave. I am so glad he has no desire to get into the dryer but I still will not put laundry in it if one of the cats manages to sneak into my laundry room. Unless I am doing laundry the door is kept closed.
I have read about inside-out door dashing cats but never an outside-in door dasher. This sweety would visit and just make herself at home. Once I fell asleep in the computer chair reclined back, while she slept by the opened front door in the summer. Here I was a stranger to her.
